JULES YAEGER
grew up in the Twin Cities. She has a degree in Nonfiction Writing and Media Arts and Design from the University of Chicago.
CURRENTLY, she is a social editor and women's sports contributor for Pop Base; social editor of the podcast (with singing!) Doooets; a news & features producer for AMPERS' North Star Stories; and a fact-checker for StoryCorps' weekly broadcasts on NPR's Morning Edition. She also associate produces for Audacy's WBBM Newsradio in Chicago.
She has worked in local storytelling with WTTW, WBEZ, and the American Writers Museum in Chicago and KCCI Channel 8 in Des Moines.
Additionally, she worked as a production fellow at StoryCorps, where she produced this Thanksgiving special and this conversation between a mother and son.
She occasionally self-publishes written work on her Substack, and her audio work can be found on her Soundcloud.
She's been to every state in the Midwest except Ohio, but she's working on it.
